1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Deposit Central School Alumni Network (“the Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone who accesses any part of the Site.

2. Who May Use the Site

The Site is intended for alumni of Deposit Central School, current and former faculty, and their immediate family members, subject to administrator approval. By registering, you represent that you are who you claim to be and are eligible to participate in the alumni community.

3. Account Responsibility

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • You may not impersonate another person or create a false identity.
  • You may not share your account with others.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You may not:

  • Harvest, scrape, or collect other members' contact information for commercial use
  • Send unsolicited messages, spam, or bulk communications to other members
  • Use member contact information for any purpose other than personal alumni reconnection
  • Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its database
  • Use automated tools to access or interact with the Site

5. Member Privacy & Contact Information

Contact information made available through this directory (email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses) is provided exclusively for alumni-to-alumni communication. Using this information for solicitation, marketing, commercial purposes, or any other non-alumni purpose is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.

6. Verification & Moderation

All accounts require administrator verification before gaining full access. Administrators reserve the right to approve, deny, or revoke access at their discretion. Providing false information during verification is grounds for permanent removal from the Site.

7. Intellectual Property

Content you submit to the Site (such as profile information or photos) remains yours. By submitting it, you grant the Site a limited license to display it to other verified members. The Site's design, code, and original content are the property of the DCS Alumni Network.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Site will be available at all times, error-free, or that alumni records are complete or accurate. We are not responsible for the accuracy of information submitted by members.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the DCS Alumni Network and its administrators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or reliance on any information found herein.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
